- 2 cups (320g) sliced pickles
- 1 cup (240g) buttermilk mixed with a dash of franks hot seasoning (optional)
- 1 cup (125g) breadcrumbs
- ¼ cup (23g) grated parmesan
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- ⅓ teaspoon smoked paprika
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat the Air Fryer to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
- Pat the pickles dry to remove excess moisture.
- Combine seasoned buttermilk in a bowl.
- In a separate bowl, mix breadcrumbs, grated parmesan, oregano, smoked paprika, and garlic powder together.
- Quickly dip each pickle slice into the buttermilk, letting the excess drip off before dredging both sides in the breadcrumb mixture, and then place them in the Air Fryer basket.
- Fill the basket with breaded pickles and cook in the Air Fryer for 8-10 minutes.
- Three minutes before cooking is complete, lightly spray the pickles with oil to enhance crispiness.
- Repeat the breading and frying process with the remaining pickles until all are cooked.
Notes
For extra crunch, ensure pickles are patted dry thoroughly before breading.
Adjust the seasonings according to your taste for more or less heat.
These fried pickles can be served with a dip of your choice for added flavor.
