Description

Enjoy a delightful Banana Cream Pie filled with creamy vanilla pudding, fresh bananas, and a buttery Nilla wafer crust. This simple yet delicious dessert is perfect for gatherings or a sweet treat at home.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups nilla wafers – crushed
  • ⅓ cup melted butter
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 2 bananas – sliced
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 2 3.4 ounce boxes instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups whipped topping – thawed and divided

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. Crush the Nilla wafers in a food processor until they are fine crumbs.
  3. Combine the crumbs with melted butter and brown sugar until well mixed.
  4. Press the mixture into the bottom and sides of a pie plate to form a crust.
  5. Bake the crust for 10 minutes or until it is lightly golden.
  6. Allow the crust to cool completely before adding the filling.

Notes

Make sure to let the crust cool completely to prevent the filling from melting.
To enhance the flavors, use ripe bananas for a sweeter taste.
You can add a drizzle of chocolate syrup on top for an extra treat.
