- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1-2 tablespoons milk
- 1 1/4 cup mini m&m’s, divided
Instructions
- In a stand mixer, cream the butter for 20 seconds.
- Add both sugars and cream until light and fluffy, about 2 minutes.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla until well combined.
- Mix in flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt until the dough is thick.
- Using a spatula, mix in milk, adding a second tablespoon if too dry.
- Stir in 1 cup of mini M&M's.
- Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes for thicker cookies.
- Preheat the oven to 350º F. Scoop golf ball-sized dough onto a baking sheet.
- Press a few mini M&Ms into each dough ball.
- Bake for 9-10 minutes until edges are done but centers look undercooked.
- Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
