Description

These Chocolate Oatmeal Peanut Butter Bars feature a delightful combination of oats, creamy peanut butter, and rich chocolate, making them an irresistible snack or dessert. Perfect for a quick treat or family indulgence, these bars are easy to prepare and packed with flavor.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2/3 cup butter softened to room temp.
  • 1/2 cup karo syrup (or 1/2 cup agave nectar + 2 tablespoons honey)
  • 3 cups quick oats
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups milk chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup peanut butter


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Grease a 9×13 metal pan.
  3. Combining all the ingredients, press the mixture evenly into the prepared pan.
  4. Bake in the oven at 375 for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.

Notes

Allow the bars to cool completely before cutting for cleaner slices.
For extra flavor, add a sprinkle of sea salt on top before baking.
These bars can be stored in an airtight container for up to a week.
