Description
Churro Rice Krispie Treats combine sweet marshmallows and cinnamon for an irresistible snack. These easy treats are perfect for gatherings or a simple dessert.

- 4 tablespoons salted butter plus extra for the pan
- 6 cups rice krispies cereal
- 12 ounces mini marshmallows about 7 1/2 cups
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
- cinnamon sugar for topping, combine 1/4 cup sugar and 1/2 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
- Butter an 8×8" baking pan.
- In a large bowl, toss Rice Krispies with 1 1/2 teaspoons of cinnamon. Set aside.
- In a large saucepan, melt butter over low heat, then add marshmallows and stir until almost melted, leaving some lumps for gooeyness.
- Remove from heat and quickly stir in the cereal until well coated.
- Using a buttered spatula or wax paper, evenly press the mixture into the buttered pan. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar if desired and allow to cool before cutting and serving.
Notes
Ensure some marshmallows remain slightly melted for a chewier texture.
Add extra cinnamon sugar on top for a sweeter finish.
These treats can be stored in an airtight container for up to three days.
