Description

This Cilantro and Lime Chicken Marinade features the perfect blend of fresh flavors. With just a few simple ingredients, this marinade infuses chicken with irresistible taste, making it ideal for a quick dinner or healthy meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 6 tablespoons olive oil
  • ¼ cup fresh lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cumin
  • ⅛ teaspoon chipotle powder
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro chopped

Instructions

  1. Combine all of the marinade ingredients in a bowl and stir until fully combined.
  2. Pour the marinade over the chicken, cover it, and let it marinate for 20-30 minutes.
  3. Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing the excess to drip off. Sprinkle with additional salt and pepper if desired, then grill until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  4. When serving, top the chicken with additional chopped cilantro and a squeeze of fresh lime juice. Enjoy!

Notes

Marinate the chicken for longer for more intense flavor.
This marinade works well on grilled vegetables too!
