- 1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 1 (6.5 oz.) can drained minced clams, juice reserved
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
- 2 green onions (white and green parts), finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, diced
- 1/2 tablespoon dried minced onion
- dash or two tabasco sauce, to taste
- salt and pepper, to taste
- potato chips for serving
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, mash the softened cream cheese with a fork until smooth and creamy.
- Add the mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon of reserved clam juice, minced clams, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, chopped green onions, diced garlic, dried minced onion, tabasco sauce, and season with salt and pepper. Stir until well combined.
- If needed, add more clam juice to achieve the desired dip consistency, approximately 2 tablespoons + 1 teaspoon is recommended.
- For enhanced flavor, prepare the dip up to 8 hours in advance and keep it covered in the refrigerator before serving with potato chips.
Notes
This dip can be made ahead of time for convenience.
Adjust the amount of Tabasco sauce to your desired spice level.
Serve chilled for the best flavor.
