Ingredients
Scale
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 1 pint heavy whipping cream
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Instructions
- Melt the butter in the microwave or on the stove and let it cool for a few minutes.
- Blend the flour, milk, water, eggs, salt, sugar, and vanilla extract in a blender until well mixed.
- Allow the batter to rest in the fridge for 30 minutes to 2 hours until the bubbles have dissolved, if possible.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and lightly coat it with cooking spray or melted butter.
- Pour about 1/4 cup of batter into the heated pan, quickly swirl it to evenly coat the bottom.
- Cook for about 1 to 2 minutes until set, then flip and cook for another 90 seconds.
- Repeat with the remaining batter, stacking cooked crepes on a plate.
- To make whipped cream, beat heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form, then add powdered sugar and vanilla extract and stir gently.
- Fill crepes with toppings like Nutella, berries, or banana slices and enjoy!
Notes
Resting the batter allows for better texture in the crepes.
Use an 8 to 10-inch skillet for best results.
Adjust the filling based on your preference for sweet or savory crepes.
