Description

These Jalapeño Popper Breadsticks are a delightful mix of creamy cheese, spicy jalapeños, and crispy bacon. Perfect for a quick, tasty snack or appetizer that everyone will love!


Ingredients

  • 1 pillsbury pizza crust
  • 4 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 4 jalapenos stems and seeds removed, cut into quarters
  • 8 tablespoons bacon crumbles
  • 8 mozzarella cheese sticks
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted
  • Sprinkle Parmesan
  • Sprinkle dried parsley


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.
  2. Spray a baking sheet with cooking oil and set it aside.
  3. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough slightly.
  4. Cut the dough into 8 rectangular pieces.
  5. Spread cream cheese over each piece of pizza dough.
  6. Top each piece with 1 tablespoon of crumbled bacon.
  7. Place 2 quarters of a jalapeno on top of the cream cheese and bacon mixture. Repeat with the remaining dough pieces and jalapenos.
  8. Add one string cheese on top of each jalapeno.
  9. Roll up the pizza dough into breadsticks.
  10. Arrange the breadsticks on the prepared baking sheet.
  11. Brush melted butter onto each breadstick, then sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and dried parsley.
  12. Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
  13. Remove from the oven and serve immediately. Enjoy!

Notes

Feel free to adjust the number of jalapeños to suit your heat preference.
These breadsticks can be prepared ahead of time and frozen before baking for an easy treat later.
Serve with ranch or your favorite dipping sauce for added flavor.
