- Stir in parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Let sauce simmer gently for about 5 minutes until it thickens slightly.
- Taste and adjust salt and pepper as needed.
- If desired, add a pinch of crushed red pepper flakes for heat.
- Add the cooked tortellini and chicken back into the pan, tossing gently to coat in the creamy sauce. Warm together for about 2 minutes.
