Description

Ingredients

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons instant yeast
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 ¼ cups warm water
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 3 tablespoons molasses
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 teaspoon all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup toasted sesame seeds


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the flour, instant yeast, and salt.
  2. Add the warm water and stir until the dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough by hand for 8-10 minutes or in a stand mixer for about 4-5 minutes until smooth and soft.
  4. Cover the bowl with a cloth and allow the dough to rise until it doubles in size, approximately 1 hour.
  5. Once risen, divide the dough into 6 equal pieces.
  6. Let the pieces rest for 10 minutes before shaping.

Notes

Ensure the water is warm but not hot to activate the yeast properly.
You can sprinkle more sesame seeds on top before baking for added flavor.
