Description

Treat yourself to Crispy Stir Fry Green Beans, a vibrant dish packed with fresh green beans and mushrooms. Easy to prepare and bursting with flavor, it’s perfect for a quick dinner or a healthy side dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound green beans, ends trimmed
  • ½ pound mushrooms, sliced thick
  • 1 tablespoon fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Sesame seeds and chili flakes, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over high heat. Once hot, add the green beans and stir often for about 4 minutes until slightly blistered and bright green.
  2. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook for another 3 minutes, allowing them to soften and release moisture while keeping the beans crisp.
  3. Lower the heat slightly, then add minced garlic and ginger. Stir constantly for about 30 seconds until fragrant, avoiding any burning.
  4. Incorporate the soy sauce, oyster sauce, maple syrup, and sesame oil. Toss everything well to ensure the vegetables are evenly coated.
  5. Allow the sauce to bubble for 1-2 minutes until lightly thickened and glossy.
  6. Taste and season with salt and black pepper as desired.
  7. Garnish with sesame seeds and chili flakes. Serve immediately while the beans remain slightly crisp.

Notes

Adjust the amount of garlic to suit your taste for a milder or stronger flavor.
For added heat, include more chili flakes or fresh chili.
This dish is best served fresh but can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
