- 4 ½ to 5 cups chicken breasts – cooked and shredded or chopped
- 10.5 ounces cream of chicken soup
- 8 ounces sour cream
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- ¼ teaspoon onion powder
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ to ½ teaspoon black pepper – or to taste
- ¼ to ½ teaspoon kosher salt – to taste, this will greatly depend on how your chicken is seasoned
- 1 ½ sleeves ritz crackers – you can use 2 sleeves for extra crunch
- 6 tablespoons salted butter – melted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350℉ and lightly spray a 9 X 13 baking dish with cooking spray. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine cream of chicken soup, sour cream, mayonnaise, onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt, mixing until smooth and creamy.
- Add the cooked and shredded chicken to the bowl and stir to combine.
- Pour the chicken mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- In a separate bowl, mix the crushed crackers with melted butter until well blended.
- Spread the cracker mixture evenly over the chicken mixture.
- Bake the casserole uncovered for 25 to 30 minutes, or until it’s bubbly and golden brown.
- Once baked, remove from the oven and let it sit for 5-10 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
Notes
For extra crunch, add two sleeves of Ritz crackers.
